Papa, always the politician, made his way from the back of the crowd to right beside Senator Bob Doyle for this picture. We all just laughed and shook our heads. We were not surprised at all!
This is the area Papa served in during WWII. He did not have a chance to get to really see it, but his guardian went back at lunch and took these pictures for our family.
