Hamburger Meat Recipe Tag

My "gurl"friend over at the Horton Family tagged all of us to post a new recipe using hamburger meat that is not the “meatloaf/spaghetti/taco rotation.”
Don’t you feel like you cook the same things over and over again?
No rules. Just post a recipe that you and your family enjoy that has at least one ingredient…you guessed it, hamburger meat…and does NOT fit in the “meatloaf/spaghetti/taco rotation” category. Leave me a comment if you decide to post a recipe on your blog. I can get them to Laura and she will post them all on her blog on Friday. It will be like a mini cookbook! All on one blog! We'll all have different recipes to try! "Meatloaf/spaghetti/taco rotation" problem solved! Viola'!!

  2. I made this for dinner tonight... it is from Southern Living...

    Richard's Sloppy Joes
1 1/2 pounds ground beef or turkey or pork...whatever you want
    1 (14 1/2 ounce) canned diced tomatoes
    1/2 cup bbq sauce
    1 1/4 cup ketchup
1 T Worcestershire sauce (I add more, because I like it)
2 T chopped pickled jalapenos (optional)
1 T liquid from pickled Jalapenos
    Toasted rolls

Cook ground beef in large skillet over med high heat, stirring until beef crumbles and is no longer pink, drain well. Return beef to skillet.

Stir in tomatoes, next 3 ingredients, and if desired the jalapenos and liquid.

Reduce to low abd summer until sauce thickens
    Enjoy
