Lunch with Friends (and a Surprise Guest)

As with our other trip to Shiloh, we stopped at Rhea Springs and ate lunch. The kids loved playing in the springs. This time we were even prepared with flip flops for the mossy rocks and extra clothes! They were having the very best time just playing with their friends . . ..

Until, Mary Katherine yelled out, "I think I see a snake!" The crowds rushed over to where she was pointing to see if what she said was true.

The girls were the ones most interested in finding out if our surprise guest was poisonous or not. Notice the boys are either not in the picture or towards the back!

Turns out our little friend was a baby copperhead! Now, isn't that fun!
