Dauphin Island is small but full of things to do.
On this day, we started in the bird sanctuary on the island.
The kids loved exploring and keeping their eyes open for birds and the alligator!
The sanctuary led you right out onto the beach for a beautiful setting.
Then, we headed to the Sea Lab on the island. We got to look at different types of sea life found in and around the Mobile Bay.
The highlight, though, was trying to pet the sting rays.
After the sea lab, we went to Shell Mounds which is an old Indian mound with big beautiful trees to climb on. This was fabulous and gorgeous!
This island has been oh so good to us!
