Happy 90th Birthday, Granny!!!

The reason we even came to Texas was to celebrate Granny Welch's 90th birthday.
We laugh and say she will probably outlive us all and that is probably true!
We were so glad to be able to get together with family we hardly ever see, and the kids
loved getting to meet all their "new" cousins!
It really was a wonderful day!

We Mustache LB to have a Great Birthday!

Since cousins were in town, we decided to have LB's birthday with all of them.
The original plan was to have a big friend birthday but as plans go.... that didn't happen.
She finally looked at me and asked to just do a family party this year so that is what we did.
We all had a great time with all the mustache things she had found for the party.

We invited Mr. Bob to come as well because he was celebrating a birthday as well.
It was his first birthday without Mrs. Joan and we loved having him with us.

I can't believe she is 12!!!!!
Where has time and my little girl gone?

September 2013 Recap

September was full of visits from family.
Birthdays to celebrate.
Friends having fun.

I am sure most of you have heard of Kid President.  We are very blessed to have
him and his sister as friends of ours.
The kids were invited by Kid President and Lexi (his sister) to attend a premiere of
Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2 in September.  It was cute and the kids just loved
the fact that they were thought of by this sweet family.

The sisters
Carter and Kid President being themselves - very silly!
September kept us busy with some other things as well.
Pictures coming soon of Carter's 10th (gasp) birthday and fall baseball!

Happy Birthday, Laura Beth!!

We celebrated LB's birthday in style during Lads to Leaders with a lunch date at The Aquarium restaurant at Opry Mills.  We had a great time and enjoyed celebrating our special girl young lady!

Happy Birthday, Jordan!!!!!

March has been a busy month for everyone!  Jordan celebrated his birthday at the beginning of the month, but it was closer to the middle of the month before we could officially celebrate! Even then, the whole family was not here to celebrate with him.  We still had a great time.
Jordan has been a huge blessing this year to our family.  He is the fourth Newby we have had to be a part of our family.  We have just fallen in love with this thoughtful young man.  It was our pleasure to celebrate him for a day!

The girls always go above and beyond as they "sing" Happy Birthday!

After lunch, some kind of game ALWAYS takes place.  This week it was soccer as Madlyn and LB had junior high soccer tryouts that next week.  I am sure these games really got them prepared!!

LOVE this picture!!!!

Dog pile Whitney - don't know why, but they did!
We are so thankful for ALL of our kids and love celebrating them every chance we can get!

Happy First Birthday, Lucy!

We loved being able to celebrate Lucy's first birthday with her and the family.
LB enjoyed helping Aunt Amy make the cupcakes for the party.
Amy is always so good to let LB and Carter cook with her!

What a special family!!!!

The best part of a first birthday . . . .

THE CAKE SMASHING!

I will spare you the 20 other pictures I took of this cutie shoving cake into her mouth! It was just precious!!!

Happy Birthday, sweet Lucy!

Happy Birthday, Ryan!

We love our college kids.
We love the fact that they love to be with us as well.
We love that they feel comfortable that they can bring anyone over that needs a home.
We also love celebrating every moment with them - birthdays especially!

We were so blessed to actually get to celebrate Ryan's birthday this year.

We love the idea that they think of our home as their home.

We love that they love our children and our children love them.

We just love these precious faces,

and the love they share with each other.

How can you NOT love this!

 Happy Birthday, Ryan!
Thanks for letting us be a part of it!
