Off to Nashville - All By Ourselves!

Well.... another first is in the books.

LB is off to Junior BETA convention in Nashville all by herself.

She and her girls are SO excited - as the picture shows!

Apparently, we don't need to worry about our girls because Gideon is going to take care of them

(and hopefully Mac will look over them, too, as he is in the picture!).

I know they are going to have a BLAST!

Basketball Season 2014 Begins

Basketball season at the junior high has begun and we are loving watching LB play.

She has come a long way for never playing basketball until last year.

She has even seen a little time on varsity.

One thing we love about basketball season is getting to hang out with Elam and Erby Anne.

Coach Murphy's wife is my partner teacher at school, and our kids ADORE each other.

Braces ON!!!!

The beginning of November brought a change for LB - BRACES!!!

She went to school looking like this - 

and came to me after school looking like this - 

Now we are off to her first JV basketball game of the season.

Yes, Damon has already gotten on to me for scheduling her appointment to get her

braces on for this day.  What was I thinking?

First Day of School 2014

Well, here it is August 5 and our first FULL day of school is now upon us!

Carter and I actually had a half day yesterday but LB did not have to go (lucky dog!), 

so we stopped today and took the traditional first day of school pictures!

It took 3 tries for SOMEONE (LB) to cooperate!
