A Week of Baseball
Carter is usually my home body - except when it comes to baseball. When it comes to baseball it does not matter where or when - he is ready! He was able to spend a week at baseball camp with some of his teammates and friends this year. They loved it! Here he is learning to slide - a skill he LOVES to practice!
Laura Beth's Last Day of Second Grade
Laura Beth's 2nd Grade Awards Day
We celebrated the end of second grade in Mrs. Dee's room with a special awards ceremony. Laura Beth received the "Best Reader" award along with attendance, honor roll and numerous AR awards. She has had a wonderful year with a wonderful teacher and friends!
Some of the best news we got on the day was that Mrs. Dee is going to loop with the kids to third grade next year!!!!! We are so excited to get to do this again! We have been blessed with such wonderful teachers in Laura Beth's time at East Chester - even if she has only had 2!!! Can't wait till next year, Mrs. Dee!!!!

Practically Perfect in Every Way
The end of our Christmas present was tickets to see Mary Poppins at the Fabulous Fox in Atlanta and it was fabulous in every way! The kids were so excited and Carter was determined that Mary Poppins would NOT fly. When she did, oh my! Carter was completely amazed. They were also amazed at Bert climbing up and over the stage! It was truly magical to see what Disney did and the kids' faces!!
The Perfect Lunch Date
I love going out to lovely places to eat and Maggiano's is one of my most favorite places. That is where we were able to eat lunch on Saturday with Richard and Amy. It was FABULOUS!!
A Fantastic End to the Night
After the game we were able to view the Friday Night Fireworks show. It was great!
Christmas in May
For Christmas Richard and Amy gave our family tickets to the Braves vs Diamondbacks game. We were all so excited! We took the kids out of school - shame, I know, but we had permission from the principal and off we went . . . .
Carter had a rough start to the game with some
car sickness, but got over it pretty quickly.
and, of course, Uncle Richard had to be in it!
Colorful Kindergarteners . . . . .
Carter and his classmates celebrated the end of a wonderful year with a program called "A World of Color." They made a rainbow by wearing different colored shirts and sang songs about all the colors of the rainbow. They did a great job!
