#1 Catcher in the Rye (my absolute fav but I hate the language so I've crossed out most of it in my personal copy)and any other JD Salinger books
#2 The Glass Castle
#3 Matilda
#4 A Girl Named Zippy

Faulkner should be on the list, probably at number two, and the bible should be bumped to number 1.
