First Grade Field Trip

Yesterday I was able to go with Miss Priss and her first grade class to the Circle Y on their fall field trip. We were blessed with a beautiful day and we had so much fun. The students were given a wagon ride out to a pond to feed some HUGE catfish and then we went to the pumpkin patch to pick our pumpkins. After we got back from that, we went to the petting station where my not so brave child FINALLY held the chicken and bunny below.

This bunny was very tired of being held and Miss Priss had some problems. However, she did a great job of trying again (and again) even though she really did not want to!!! We also rode a train, played in the bounce house, played 18 holes of putt putt (with 18 1st graders - that was interesting!!), enjoyed a picnic lunch and played on an awesome playground!! I think it is safe to say we all had a great time, but I remember why as a teacher I did not like to take field trips - they wore me out!!!!

Did you use the collage program I talked about on my blog yesterday? It is so cool. Makes such fun collages, if you used a different program do tell!

Can I just say that your little girl is BEAUTIFUL, thankfully she has godly parents who will instill in her an inward beauty to go along with her outward beauty... she is so adorable!!! (I have to dote on other's little girls, since I only have boys!)

Little Miss Priss is so CUTE. I remember a lot of pumpkin patch trips and was actually glad when we took out last one with Daniel's class, whatever grade that was. Enjoy the time though, it sure goes fast.

What a fun day! I went to a corn maize with Mary Ashley's class earlier this week, and it was such a fun outing. The children didn't get to hold any animals, but they were able to pet some through the fence. MA was a little fearful to get within a few feet of the fence, but I can tell LB feels right at home holding animals. That rabbit is too precious -- and LB is too!

cool collage. I'm not sure what the deal was yesterday when I tried to leave a comment. You'll have to tell me (again) how you did that!!
