A Hero's Welcome Home

The company had asked for as many family and friends to be at the airport when the men arrived home - to give them a true hero's welcome. As you can tell, it was a sight to behold.
The heroes come home after a long day.
Our hero, J. Walker Whittle.
He had to call Jonathan on his cell phone to find him in the crowd!!

Rebecca welcoming Papa home.

Jonathan, Papa and Rebecca
Thank you,
Jonathan, for putting Papa's name on the list.
Honor Flight workers for dreaming up this idea and implementing it.
Companies who sponsor this event for allowing these men to experience a day like this.
all American veterans for what you have done for our country.
Papa and Pa for fighting for our country in this war and making all of us VERY proud.
We love you!

That is wonderful that your grandpa got to go on this trip! We had a man from our church go on the last Honor Flight out of Huntsville. It truly is a great thing for our veterans!!
