Happy Halloween with our College Kids

We decided that we would not trick or treat this year on Halloween. We had seen everyone we usually see the nights before and it can just be crazy around our neighborhood. Therefore, we invited the rest of our college kids over for pumpkin carving, chili and potato soup. Two had never carved a pumpkin before and I think it is safe to say we all had a great time just being together.

We love our college kids!!! Thanks for making tonight a great night!

While the kids were asleep, the Great Jack-o-Lantern came and took away the Halloween candy. The kids did get to pick 10 of their favorites before he came. Miss Priss received a High School Musical shirt and magazine. Little Man got baseball cards and a Chicago Cubs baseball cap. Their candy will be given to the Carl Perkins Child Abuse Center to be given to kids who may not have been able to get as much. What a great Halloween!

Becky, what a great idea to have the college kids over! And giving Halloween candy away? I've never heard of such, but I LOVE the idea!! I wish I knew of something like that in our area! You should see how much candy Baby Girl got all week! It was absolutely too much!!
